At Solebay Primary Academy, we believe that a rigorous and well-supported transition is key to ensuring our pupils feel confident and ready for the next stage of their education journey.

To further strengthen this process, we arranged an additional Year 6 transition workshop delivered by THEWS.

During the workshop, each pupil received a specially designed transition workbook, which they completed with guidance and support. The session gave pupils a valuable opportunity to explore their feelings, ask questions, and gain a helpful confidence boost ahead of their move to secondary school.

To extend this support to families, THEWS will also be hosting a Parent Coffee Morning and Transition Workshop on Tuesday 22nd July from 9:00–10:00am. This will provide parents and carers with practical strategies to support their children during this important time, as well as a chance to ask questions and connect with other families.
