This week in Year 3/4, our classroom has been transformed into a studio full of young artists!
We’ve been exploring self-portraiture, focusing on composition, proportion, and careful observation. The children have practised a range of sketching techniques — from light pencil outlines to adding detail, shading, and texture — all while learning how to position their features accurately.
It’s been fantastic to see such concentration, resilience, and creativity as each artist works hard to capture their unique identity on paper. We’re so proud of the effort and progress everyone has made — true artists at work!
