Last week, our Year 3/4 pupils had great fun exploring the world of nonsense poetry, taking inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s famous Jabberwocky.
They showed off their fantastic skills by using a range of literary features such as alliteration, rhyme, and creative wordplay to craft their very own imaginative poems.
Not only did they impress us with their writing, but they also practised the important skill of peer support – giving each other two stars and a wish to celebrate successes and encourage improvements. Well done, Year 3/4 – your creativity and teamwork shone through!
