This week, Year 1/2 children have been exploring capacity and volume through fun, practical activities.
They have been comparing containers, estimating and measuring how much different objects can hold, and using language such as full, empty, half full, nearly full, and more than/less than. The children enjoyed making predictions, testing their ideas, and developing their measuring skills through hands-on investigations. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity and mathematical thinking grow!
