World Day for Cultural Diversity – Thursday 21st May 2026

At Solebay, we are proud of our diverse school community.

To celebrate this event, we would like to invite pupils to come to school in clothes to represent their culture on Thursday 21st May 2026. This may be their traditional cultural dress, or something that they feel represents their culture. Pupils may also bring in items from their culture that they can share information about with their class.

We would like to offer parents and carers an opportunity to share some information about their own culture and heritage during a special focus assembly on Thursday 21st May 2026 (10:45-11:05am).

If you are interested in delivering a 5-minute presentation in assembly, then please email info@solebayacademy.org by Wednesday 13th May.

LATE COLLECTION OF PUPILS

Some pupils are regularly being collected late from the office after school instead of the park. We understand that occasionally parents/carers may unexpectedly be late.
