We have children’s mental health week the week beginning 9th February and we have a poster making (art project) competition to get our pupils involved.
We will have an assembly on Tuesday 9th February to announce the winners. Please encourage your child to take part and explain that the project is to support their positive mental health.

Attendance and Punctuality
It is important for all our pupils to come to school every day and on time! Regular attendance and punctuality helps us learn well in school, make friends and have fun. When we miss school, it is easy to fall behind and miss out on exciting lessons and activities. Poor attendance can also affect our friendships, making it harder to join in class discussions and group projects.
In line with Department for Education guidance we won’t be authorising any holidays during term time, absences that are not illness related will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances. Please book holidays outside of term time, and appointments outside school hours if possible – if not possible then your child should attend school before and after the appointment and we will need to see evidence (hospital, appointment card) to authorise the absence.
Unsung Hero
The unsung hero this week is Sancia for managing the Read Write visit. We received some fantastic feedback regarding the provision and progress of our pupils. Well done Sancia!
