Unsung Hero of the Week

This week’s Unsung Hero nomination goes to the incredible teachers and support staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support our Year 6 pupils through SATs week.

From early morning encouragement and last-minute preparation, to calming nerves, boosting confidence, scribing, organising, and keeping spirits high, your dedication made an enormous difference. You created a reassuring environment where pupils felt supported, valued, and ready to do their best.

SATs week is never just about tests — it is about teamwork, care, patience, and encouragement. Thank you for the energy, compassion, and commitment you showed every single day. Our pupils could not have done it without you.
You are truly our unsung heroes!

Unauthorised Absences in Term Time

We follow government guidance on term time holidays and we do not authorise pupil holidays during term time. We encourage parents/carers to take their holidays during one of the scheduled holiday breaks.

You can be fined or face legal action for taking your child on holiday during term time.
