World Book Day 2026

Our school was transformed into a living storybook on World Book Day!

We are bursting with pride at the incredible creativity our pupils brought to school. From the whimsical to the slightly terrifying, the handmade costumes were truly next-level.

We saw a legendary “Chokey” (straight out of Matilda) and a towering Chocolate Factory hat that would make Willy Wonka himself jealous!

A very convincing Mr. Tumnus guided us through the wardrobe, and we were joined by a coven of Wicked Witches from the Wizard of Oz.

The day peaked with a Character Parade, where teachers and pupils alike strutted their stuff to show off their favorite literary heroes and villains.

Thank you to everyone who put so much effort into making reading come to life. It’s been a chapter to remember!

Eid Mubarak

We will only be able confirm the date of closure for parents/carers on Wednesday 18th March. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Unsung Hero

We often talk about the heart of our school, but today we want to celebrate the man who keeps the “engine” running! This month’s Unsung Hero nomination goes to our incredible caretaker, Baba.

While we are busy learning in our classrooms, Baba is constantly on the move to ensure our school is a safe, clean, and happy place to be. We want to say a huge thank you for:

The Lunchtime Magic: Baba ensures the hall is spotless and the tables are always ready and waiting for us to enjoy our lunch.

Keeping Us Fueled: From making sure every class has their milk and snacks to ensuring the tissue boxes are never empty during sneeze season, he anticipates everything we need before we even have to ask.

The School Fixer: If it’s broken, Baba finds a way to fix it! His hard work keeps our building in tip-top shape every single day.

Baba, thank you for your kindness, your hard work, and for looking after us all. Our school wouldn’t be the same without you!

LATE COLLECTION OF PUPILS

Some pupils are regularly being collected late from the office after school instead of the park. We understand that occasionally parents/carers may unexpectedly be late. However if you regularly arrive late to collect, we will send your child to after school club and you will be expected to pay the £7.50 charge for this club. Thank you for your cooperation.
