Multi Sports Day

Our Year 3/4 and Year 5 pupils had an amazing time at a fun-filled, action-packed Multi Sports Day hosted by the brilliant Sports Inspire team!

Pupils worked in teams, showing fantastic sportsmanship – cheering each other on, showing resilience, and giving every activity their best effort. They took part in everything from Taekwondo, Thai boxing, rugby, cricket, dancing, to Boccia – what an incredible variety of sports to experience! We are so proud that one of our teams won the SPIRIT Trophy, and every child went home with a shiny medal – so well deserved! A huge thank you to Sports Inspire for providing such a brilliant day – and well done to all our Solebay pupils for their effort, teamwork, and energy!

World Teachers Day Shout Out

We are thrilled to nominate the entire teaching staff at Solebay Primary School for World Teachers’ Day on Sunday, October 5th! They are the true unsung heroes of our school community.

The Solebay teachers do so much more than teach. They are absolutely brilliant at helping young minds grow and learn, always fostering curiosity and knowledge. Beyond academics, they are our frontline carers, offering essential pastoral support and ready-to-go first aid care whenever needed. What makes them so exceptional is their dedication and total flexibility — they are constantly stepping up, adapting, and simply doing everything necessary to ensure our children are happy, safe, and thriving. They deserve this recognition and so much more. Thank you, Solebay teachers, you are genuinely the best!
