The school hallways were a little brighter and much tastier this past Monday as we came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
Our pupils ditched their usual uniforms in favour of their finest party clothes. From shimmering traditional dress to vibrant festive outfits, the playground looked like a rainbow in motion. The energy was infectious as children proudly shared the significance of their clothing and the traditions they celebrate at home.We want to extend a massive thank you to our incredible families. Your generosity truly made the day. Thanks to the amazing variety of treats sent in—from honey-soaked baklava and spicy savoury snacks to beautifully decorated cupcakes—no one went home hungry!

SEND Flexi Class Cinema Trip
Our pupils IN SEND Flexible provision recently enjoyed a truly memorable trip to the Cineworld at the O2 Arena where they attended a special soft screening of The Bad Guys 2.
The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to experience the magic of the cinema in a calm, supportive environment tailored to their needs. The soft screening created a relaxed atmosphere, with lower sound levels and gentle lighting, allowing all pupils to feel comfortable and fully engaged.
For many, this was a significant and exciting experience, offering the chance to enjoy a popular film alongside their peers. Adding to the excitement, pupils were treated to popcorn, making the outing feel like a true cinema experience. Smiles and laughter filled the screening, with pupils thoroughly captivated by the film and enjoying every moment from start to finish.
Staff were incredibly proud of how pupils represented the school, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and respect throughout the trip. The visit also supported important social development, encouraging shared experiences and positive interactions among peers.
This trip was a fantastic success and highlights the importance of providing inclusive opportunities that allow all pupils to access enriching experiences beyond the classroom. It is safe to say that the day will be remembered fondly by everyone involved.
