World Book Day

To celebrate we would like all pupils to dress up as their favourite book character and bring in their favourite story book to school to read.

We would like to reinforce that there is no pressure in buying a costume, and we encourage you to be creative and make the costume with your child as these are usually our winning costumes during the parade.

(If you have any extra costumes you would like to donate to the school for pupils who may not have a costume, please can you drop these to the school office by Friday 27th February.)

We will have a costume parade for all pupils to showcase their characters to the rest of the school.

There will be fun reading activities and challenges throughout the day for pupils.

Reminder About Collecting Pupils

Please be reminded that if your child is being collected by somebody other than the parent/carer, you MUST let the admin office know by call or email.

We are not permitted to release a child unless we have received specific consent to do so. Thank you for your co-operation.

Unsung Hero

The Heartbeat of Our School: A Shout-Out to Our Team

We often talk about the “school family,” but lately, our staff (including, admin, kitchen, mealtime supervisors, premises) has taken that to a whole new level. While the kids are busy learning and playing, there is a massive amount of teamwork happening in the wings that we wanted to share with you.

Our Unsung Heroes: You see them at the park, but what you don’t always see is the way this team looks out for one another. Whether it’s a teacher staying late to help a colleague prep a creative lesson, or support staff going the extra mile to make sure a child feels brave on a tough morning— the teamwork here is nothing short of remarkable.

Making School “Home”: Our goal has always been to provide top-tier teaching, but we believe that only happens when a school feels like home. Because our staff supports each other so fiercely, they’re able to pour that same energy into your children. It’s that “home-away-from-home” feeling that makes our classrooms such vibrant, safe places to grow.

LATE COLLECTION OF PUPILS

Some pupils are regularly being collected late from the office after school instead of the park. We understand that occasionally parents/carers may unexpectedly be late. However if you regularly arrive late to collect, we will send your child to after school club and you will be expected to pay the £7.50 charge for this club. Thank you for your cooperation.
