If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 you must apply for a Reception place in Primary School for September 2026, even if your child currently attends our Nursery.

Winter Fair

We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered at last week’s Christmas Fete. It was a truly wonderful event that brought us all together and helped set the festive mood for the season.Thanks to your support and generosity, the funds raised will go towards enhancing your child’s experience and education within the school. Thank you once again for your time, enthusiasm, and support.

Christmas Holidays

Just a reminder that school will close for the Christmas Break at 3.30pm on Friday 19th December. The Christmas Holiday dates are Saturday 20th December to Sunday 4th January. The school is also closed to all pupils on Monday 5th January due to staff inset. All pupils are expected to return to school on Tuesday 6th January. Thank you.

Star Pupils!

Nursery/Reception
Yahya A – For becoming more independent during PE.

Yahya U – For trying new foods at lunchtime and for becoming more confident in class.

1/2 Red
Leon – For working incredibly hard in his writing. He has shown a fantastic effort and his hard work and determination has made him a star writer. Well done!

Wahib – For always making good choices, being kind, and doing the right thing in our classroom. Well done! We are very proud of you.

2/3 Red

Shazia – Shazia demonstrates Integrity. She is an outstanding role model! She always shows the right behaviour – being kind, respectful, and ready to learn.

Kiyan – Kiyan has been showing Excellence in his Maths lessons. He is able to read and answer questions independently and challenges himself with Reasoning questions every lesson.

3/4 Red

Amiyah – (Integrity) Amiyah is extremely kind and includes others that need friends at playtime.

Fareen – (Community) Fareen is always supporting and assisting her friends who need it most.

5 Red
Seerat – For showing honesty, fairness and strong moral character in everything you do.

Mohammed Q – A true community star! You show empathy, respect and cooperation, helping our class work together and making our school a better place for everyone.

6 Red
Yapha – Yapha is our star pupil for her constant positive behaviour, as she can always be relied on to do the right thing; her kind and caring nature makes her a wonderful classmate, as she naturally strives to make others feel better, and this outstanding character is reflected in her great performance in class.

Ilyas – Ilyas is the star pupil this week, for demonstrating a tremendous amount of effort in his Maths lessons. Not only is he able to grasp the concepts but also is able to clearly understand and explain his answers; as a result of his hard work and evident understanding, he is consistently doing a fantastic job in class. Well done, Ilyas!

Unsung Hero

The unsung heroes this week are Christian and Mia for all their hard work in preparing the pupils for the Winter Concerts this week. The children were outstanding and both shows were a great success. Well done to you both! Nominated by Janet.

LATE COLLECTION OF PUPILS

Some pupils are regularly being collected late from the office after school instead of the park. We understand that occasionally parents/carers may unexpectedly be late. However if you regularly arrive late to collect, we will send your child to after school club and you will be expected to pay the £7.50 charge for this club. Thank you for your cooperation.
