About Us

Find out more about Solebay Primary, the way we are run and what we do as a school.

Welcome to Solebay!

Located in the heart of Tower Hamlets, we teach children from nursery age through to Year 6.

We are an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school with ‘Outstanding’ Early Years provision, and this year we are proud that our Year 1 students were ranked in the top 7% for phonics nationally. Our academic credentials are supported by a full programme of enrichment activities including school trips, residentials and outdoor activities for the children to enjoy.

Parents/carers and community

Parents play a really important part in the life of our school. They play a particularly important part in their own children’s learning. We encourage parents/carers to come into school, at every opportunity.

We encourage parents/carers to help in classrooms, to be available or to go on school trips and to come into assemblies but the first thing we ask them to do is to get their children to come to school on time and really ready to learn.
