PSHE/Science curriculum – parent/carer meeting information
In the summer term as part of our PSHE/Science curriculum we are going to teach pupils the units ‘Relationships’ and ‘Changing me’.
Changing me will cover aspects of relationship and sex education – This unit will be taught in the second half of the summer term.
We would like to invite parents/carers to come and view the lesson content and the resources we will be using to teach the unit ‘changing me’.
There will be a different meeting for each year group as the content for each lesson is different for each year group.
Please see the table below to see when the meetings will be held for your child’s year group.

We hope you will be in agreement with us that this work is vitally important for children, that it needs to be done age-appropriately and that the Jigsaw Programme gives us a secure framework in which to do this.
We do, as always, want to work in partnership with parents and carers, and also wish to remind you of your right to withdraw your child/ren from this aspect of the PSHE curriculum. We hope you, like us, will see the materials in Jigsaw as educationally sound and beneficial to our children, and will look forward to sharing them with you and answering any questions you may have.

All pupils who have swimming will need a swimming costume, swimming hat and towel.
All pupils who have PE will need to bring to school a dark – navy or black – T-shirt, and dark shorts, dark leggings or dark tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Parent/carer consultations
In order to book a time to meet your child’s teacher for a parent/carer consultation the following system will apply.
A member of the administration team will be at drop off or collection in the Park with timeslots available from Wednesday 14th March. You will be able to choose a slot (x10 minutes) on the following days and times:
